What is the brand-guidelines skill?

The brand-guidelines skill is a SKILL.md in anthropics/skills that applies Anthropic's official brand colors and typography to artifacts. It defines dark, light and gray neutrals, orange, blue and green accents, Poppins headings and Lora body text. It is a template for your own brand skill.

The brand-guidelines skill is a short SKILL.md that tells an AI agent how to apply one specific brand: Anthropic's. It carries exact colors and fonts and says where each belongs when the agent builds slides or documents.

It is brand-specific, so it will not brand your own work. Its value for most teams is as a clean template: copy its structure and replace the values with yours to make a skill that holds your brand.

What changes in your agent's output

  • Colors are fixed: dark #141413, light #faf9f5, mid gray #b0aea5 and light gray #e8e6dc.
  • Accents are orange #d97757, blue #6a9bcc and green #788c5d, and accent shapes cycle through them.
  • Headings use Poppins at 24pt and above with an Arial fallback, and body text uses Lora with a Georgia fallback.
  • Colors are applied in presentations through python-pptx RGB values.

Who the brand-guidelines skill is for

Best for

  • Using it as a template for a brand skill of your own.
  • Producing slides or documents that must match Anthropic's styling.
  • Teaching an agent that brand rules belong in a skill, not a prompt.

Not for

  • Applying your own brand without editing it. The values are Anthropic's.
  • Building a brand from scratch. brandkit creates a brand foundation from a brief.
  • Choosing among ready palettes. theme-factory gives ten presets.
