What is DiviOps?

DiviOps is an AI harness and MCP server for WordPress that is Divi native today. A local stdio server talks to the DiviOps Agent plugin over the WordPress REST API, so an AI client can create pages, manage presets, validate block markup and preview the rendered result. It is in public beta.

DiviOps connects an AI client to supported WordPress and Divi operations through three parts: an MCP server, WordPress plugins and authoring skills. The repository describes itself as Divi native today and WordPress wide by design.

Tool requests travel between the client and WordPress through the REST API and the DiviOps Agent plugin. Native Divi pages stay editable in the Visual Builder, and the project asks you to start on a staging site.

What is in the Free distribution

  • The DiviOps Agent plugin, with WordPress side tools for Divi page operations, validation and presets.
  • The @diviops/mcp-server package, which connects MCP clients to that plugin.
  • The diviops-divi-5 skill, covering native block formats and the Tier 1 attribute reference.
  • An optional design library plugin for CSS animations, gradients, glass effects and Three.js shaders.

Setup in five steps

  1. Upload and activate the agent plugin on a site running Divi 5.1 or later and WordPress 6.5 or later.
  2. Create an Application Password for a WordPress user.
  3. Register the MCP server with your site URL, username and password.
  4. Load the diviops-divi-5 skill, since a working tool call proves connectivity only.
  5. Run the disposable draft check from SETUP.md to confirm native modules.

Who should and should not pick it

A good fit

  • Divi 5 site owners who want an agent to draft sections, set presets and review the render.
  • Teams starting from a design reference and planning a native Divi build. Related: a Figma MCP server.
  • Builders who keep a written design brief. Related: DESIGN.md.

A poor fit

  • Sites that do not run Divi 5.1 or later. The agent plugin requires it.
  • Teams that need the Pro skill tiers. Pro packages are not in the public repository.
  • Anyone who wants a production publish with no review. The README says to keep backups and review changes.

Use it with UiChemy

DiviOps builds in Divi. If your site runs on Elementor instead, UiChemy converts Figma designs with Figma to WordPress, and Composer edits pages as real HTML, CSS and JS. See Lovable to Elementor. Click Get Started on uichemy.com.
