Eighteen months fighting the wrong battle
For years, UiChemy did one thing: turn Figma designs into WordPress by converting them into page builder widgets. As AI improved, we assumed we could make that conversion near flawless. So we tried, for eighteen months. Every new model, from Claude to ChatGPT to Gemini to Grok. Long prompts, retrieval, agents reviewing other agents, loop after loop.
It never fully held. And the reason was not the models. It was us.
AI speaks HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
We were forcing AI to think in page builder widgets, a structure it has to be taught again and again. Meanwhile, AI is already fluent in the language the web is actually built on: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We were working against its greatest strength.
So we stopped fighting it. We let AI work in the language it knows best, and we kept the result where it belongs: as real, editable WordPress.
We did not leave the page builder world
This is the part worth being clear about. UiChemy Composer runs right inside Elementor, Gutenberg, and Bricks. You keep the builder you already use. What changes is what lives inside it: not widgets anymore, but real HTML, CSS, and JS, wired to your dynamic content, including posts, custom post types, ACF, and WooCommerce.

What “AI first” really means
Building AI first changes the order of everything. We design the skills and abilities for AI to build with first. The human’s role shifts to managing and directing, not assembling by hand. You describe what you want in plain English, AI does the heavy work in code, and you open the editor to fine tune, not to build from scratch.
The payoff is practical: fewer plugins, because one system does what several used to, and more speed, because it is real code instead of stacked widget layers.
